Passport Case Management Program
This program works to help low-income clients set short term and long term goals that will eventually lead to self-sufficiency and economic independence. Case workers meet with clients to assess their strengths, address their barriers, and connect them with resources for education, job training, vocational training, and basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter. Supportive services include:
- Transportation Assistance
- Food Assistance
- Rental Assistance
- Miscellaneous Services
- Educational Resources
- Vocational & Employment Resources
- Budgeting Resources
- Self-Sufficiency Calculator
Case management is also used in the Obershaw House transitional housing program and the Individual Development Accounts (IDA) program. By meeting regularly with clients, case workers are able to find out about problems that clients are having before they become new barriers. Case workers can work with clients to quickly address the problems so that clients can continue toward success.
