Requests for certificates MUST be submitted 3 weeks prior to the date you want to receive the completed certificates. NOTE: Requests received less than 3 weeks prior may not be ready in time for your event.
Before submitting, please make sure your request meets the following criteria:
- A request is specifically for a certificate of recognition from the office of Supervisor Josie Gonzales.
- Certificates are to be presented to individuals, businesses, organization, and groups to recognize their exemplary contributions to their community or outstanding achievement.
For example, but not limited to: The grand opening of a new community center in the 5th district and/or the recognition/honoring of a school principal for his/her 40 years of service in education.
- The individual or body receiving the certificate must either reside in the 5th District and/or have shown exemplary contributions and efforts within the 5th District
If available, please email an event flyer or Save the Date to: SupervisorGonzales@SBcounty.gov
Upon receipt of your request, a 5th District staff member will review it and will contact you within 3-5 business days regarding the status of your request.
