Roman Nava
Small Business Liaison for San Bernardino County
Supervisor Gary Ovitt in the Chino District Office.
Roman Nava began his position January 3, 2005. Roman was
formerly a field representative for Assemblyman Bob Pacheco,
and prior to that, was an aide to then Governor Pete Wilson.
A Chino Hills resident, he recently was appointed by the
city council to serve as a Park and Recreation Commissioner.
His other community involvements include serving as the 2007
C.H.I.E.F.S. Fire Foundation President, as well as serving
as a member to the Chino Valley Unified School District
Measure M Citizens Bond Oversight Committee.
Roman graduated from Cal-State Fullerton with a bachelor's
degree in political science. Roman and his wife Joya, a
civil engineer with CalTrans in San Bernardino, became first
time parents in March of 2006 with the arrival of their baby
boy.
