HomeStrong USA will donate a newly renovated home to a military family on Veteran’s Day weekend
On Saturday, November 9th, HomeStrong USA, a national non-profit organization, will honor the sacrifice of America's armed forces by donating a newly renovated home in Victorville to an active duty military service member or veteran.
The donation is just one of many homes given to military families through the organization's HomeStrong's Heroes program, which provides a path to sustainable homeownership for local heroes. The innovative program allows HomeStrong USA to rehabilitate vacant properties to high standards, then donate the properties to local heroes or sell to them at 20% below market value, thus creating instant equity.
In addition, the program provides military families with access to ongoing financial education seminars and one-on-one housing counseling from USA Cares Certified Military Housing Specialists.
Active duty service members and honorably discharged veterans interested in the home have until October 25th, 2013 to submit applications
Applications are available for downloading from the HomeStrong website at www.HomeStrongUSA.org. For more information, call 887 647-8764.
