Fort Irwin

On Friday, Team Cook was honored to join a special tour of “The Box” at National Training Center/Fort Irwin

After a briefing with Brigadier General Curtis Taylor and Col. Jason Clarke, staff took a 30-minute bus ride to Razish, a realistic recreation of a foreign city.

At Razish, staff experienced the sights and sounds of a village market, watched the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment engage in mock warfare, and took turns shooting three different weapons — including a M249 saw, M240 bravo machine gun, and 50 cal M2.

Thank you to BG Taylor and Col. Clarke for offering our First District team the unique opportunity to view some of the many challenges our service men and women face while in combat.
