Certified Farmer's Markets have become a very popular shopping experience for many people throughout the state. The opportunity to purchase farm-fresh produce, tree-ripened fruits and special varieties of fruits and vegetables not available in most regular markets attracts many people each week to local markets. If the market isn't a Certified Farmer's Market, then you may not be getting the freshest and ripest produce available.

Farmers at these markets are certified as having grown the items they sell. Each farmer is allowed to sell for up to two other certified farmers. Often the markets themselves are run by a farmer, who must apply standard rules of access and market operation to other farmers wanting to join in.

The following Certified Farmer's Markets are licensed in San Bernardino County. Visit one this week!
