Baker Airport, located at the entrance to Death Valley, is an emergency airfield, as well as a strategic location for flying parts in for trucks that have broken down while traversing the freeway to and from Las Vegas, Nevada. Though the airport is unattended and offers no services, it is conveniently located only three miles from the desert city of Baker.
