Copper Mountain College

Copper Mountain College is located six miles east of Joshua Tree. Its first phase was paid for almost entirely with local private money. Subsequent phases were also substantially paid for with private help.

Copper Mountain College, part of the California Community College District, is governed by its own locally-elected Board of Trustees. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
