“Fifth-Year Update for the Consolidated Submission of the HUD Housing and Community Development Grant Programs”

The County adopted the current five-year Consolidated Plan in April 2000, for the fiscal years 2000-01 through 2004-05. This document has been prepared as the fifth-year update to the current five-year Consolidated Plan. It reflects changes to the county's needs, priorities and grant funding levels. It includes the required fifth year Action Plan for the county’s Consolidated Plan. Additional HUD-required supporting documents are included.

The Final 2000-2005 Consolidated Plan, and 2004-2005 Action Plan, are broken down into five sections, plus appendices and welcome. Please see below:

Please Note: The 2004-2005 list of projects approved for funding can be found in Section III - 2004. A summary of the approved projects are listed in the 2004-2005 Final Plan Summary.

A 30-day public review period occurred in May 2004 and the public comments received were summarized in Section V of this document. Priority needs, funding, project and geographic data was entered into HUD-supplied Community 2020 software. Resulting Community 2020 Reports are included in the county’s Final Consolidated Plan document. The Final Consolidated Plan was submitted to HUD on May 28, 2004. Revisions to the Final Plan were submitted to HUD on June 16, 2004.
