
Each year the County of San Bernardino receives grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Important community services are provided by CDBG funded subrecipients. A majority of these agencies are non-profit Community Based Organizations (CBO's). The others are local government agencies including cities and County departments.
CDBG program subrecipients are required to comply with HUD CDBG program regulations, as well as contracting requirements established by the County of San Bernardino.
This manual has been developed by the County of San Bernardino Department of Community Development and Housing (CDH) to assist CDBG subrecipients in understanding and complying with local and federal CDBG public service funding and performance requirements.
The CDBG Subrecipient Manual has been updated as of June 2006 and consists of two parts, the Manual and the Appendices. These can be viewed at the links below.
