California Speedway, located near the I-10 and I-15 interchange in Fontana is the premier motor sports venue on the west coast. The track hosts two NASCAR Nextel Cup Series events each year in February and September. These rank as the largest spectator events in California.

Built in 1997, California Speedway is owned and operated by International Speedway Corporation (ISC), a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: ISCA) recognized as a leading promoter of motor sports activities in the U.S.

A competitive road course and drag strip, Auto Club Dragway at California Speedway keeps the motor sports venue bustling year-round. The state-of-the-art, D-shaped oval track is active 340 days a year with more than 800 different groups.

The County of San Bernardino’s Redevelopment Agency co-sponsors the Auto Club 500 and welcomes race fans to the Speedway Industrial Redevelopment Area. The Redevelopment Area contains 3,400 acres of industrial and commercial property at the intersection of the 10 and 15 freeways. Home to major corporations such as California Steel Industries, the California Speedway, Mohawk Industries and Excel Corp., the area contains a broad mix of businesses and services to support your operations.

This year the track introduces the County of San Bernardino’s Opportunity, California FanZone. The FanZone features a new restaurant by Wolfgang Puck called Apex as well as retail areas, concert stages, video boards and activities for race fans.
