Each year thousands of people arrive for the Route 66 Rendezvous, the largest car show on the west coast.
The Route 66 Rendezvous covers 35 blocks of downtown San Bernardino with up to 2,448 custom and classic vehicles and enough food and automotive vendors to satisfy the most demanding tastes. The day wouldn’t be complete without live entertainment, the Cruisin’ Hall of Fame ceremony, celebrities, contests and the 500,000-plus spectators.
The car show honors the stretch of Route 66 that passes through California, extending from the Colorado River near Needles to the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica. Some 320 miles of Route 66 pass through California’s deserts, mountains, metropolitan areas and beach communities.
