Retail Expansion Follows Population Growth

Once a suburban afterthought in the shadow of Los Angeles, San Bernardino County recently emerged as a star on the retail stage. Ontario Mills in Rancho Cucamonga gets more visitors each year than Disneyland.

Less than five miles away lies Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. That project is one of the most acclaimed new retail developments in the nation. It also marked a breakthrough for the County, attracting an upscale group of stores like Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn that had never looked inland from the coastal counties.

Victoria Gardens, like Ontario Mills and dozens of other retail projects in the area, opened to record-breaking results.

After decades as a destination for families, the County is now a proven destination for retailers in search of communities growing both in population and affluence.
