Saturn Party at the County Museum
The San Bernardino County Museum’s education division and the San Bernardino Valley Amateur Astronomers will host a “Saturn Party” outside the county museum in Redlands on Saturday evening, March 11. The event, from 7 to 9 pm, is free.
“Saturn’s rings are among the most beautiful celestial objects we can behold,” said Christopher Clarke of the Valley Amateur Astronomers. “They’re awesome. And so are the vast craters and great mountains of our moon, which we’ll also be viewing.”
A variety of telescopes will be set up outside the museum for exploring the solar system. All ages are welcomed.
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. Parking is free. For more information, visit www.sbcountymuseum.org.
