Museum Open House for Volunteers
The San Bernardino County Museum’s education division will host an open house for prospective museum volunteers on Wednesday, January 11 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the museum’s Hall of History. Anyone interested in learning more about museum volunteer opportunities in education is invited to attend at no charge.
Education volunteers are friendly, outgoing, and full of curiosity. They work mornings, afternoons, or weekends, or during special events and programs as they help museum visitors experience exhibits by sharing hands-on activities and artifacts. At the open house, new volunteers will be able to hear about a variety of volunteer positions in the education division, meet some education volunteers and staff members, learn about volunteer training and learning opportunities, and ask questions.
