Museum to Host Open House for Educators
The San Bernardino County Museum’s Education Division will host an open house for educators on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to all teachers, including home-school teachers and pre-service and student teachers.
During the informal event, teachers will learn about school field trips, future exhibits, the museum’s loan program, Museum on the Road, the live animal Exploration Station, teacher workshops, and the new and improved “Living Off the Land” program. Study kits from the loan program will be available for viewing, and typical gallery presentations will occur from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission to the open house is free for educators who present their school identification; one guest per educator will also be admitted free.
