Meet the Fiber Artists at County Museum
Fiber artists from groups affiliated with the museum’s
Western Textile Center Association will introduce visitors to
the special exhibit, “Award-Winning Fiber Art,” at
the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, July 17 between
1:00 and 3:00 p.m. The event is free with museum admission. WTCA
members will give demonstrations of different textile art forms,
answer visitors’ questions, and serve as informal guides
to the special exhibit.
“Award-Winning Fiber Art” features beading, embroidery,
needle art, and weaving represented in works created by members
of the Bedazzled Beaders Society, the Inland Empire Handweavers
Guild, the Inland Empire Chapter of the Embroiderer’s Guild
of America, and the San Bernardino Chapter, American Needlepoint
Guild. Through their WTCA-affiliated groups, these artists support
preservation, exhibition, publication, and education related to
museum textile collections.
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street

Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 (adult), $5 (student
