The Economic Development Division provides a variety of programs and services
designed to attract new industry to the County while retaining existing
businesses, with the ultimate objective of maximizing employment opportunities
and increasing capital investment in the area. The Division offers a variety of
incentives financing programs, demographic and statistical information, provides
technical assistance and referral services, and financing programs to
businesses.
Many of the programs and services coordinate public and private resources. The
Division is also responsible for marketing the County's unique resources,
working closely with citizens, businesses, cities and developers in the areas of
site selection, permit processing, demographic and statistical information.
