What We Do

bullet Review plans and inspect construction of retail and wholesale food facilities and public swimming pools

bullet Provide consultation to prospective food facility and public swimming pool operators

Plan Submittals

We are now offering operators the option of submitting plans electronically. Plans may be submitted as a digital copy or three (3) sets of paper plans if the project is located within city limits or five (5) sets of paper plans if the project is located in the unincorporated County area. The plans along with the completed application and fee may be submitted in person or through the mail to one of our three regional offices. Digital copies should be in Adobe (PDF) format on a CD, flash drive or emailed to EHSPlanReview@gmail.com. Although this process is not mandatory, there are a number of advantages for operators who submit plans electronically. They will save money on printing costs, and will avoid having to pay for postage to mail the plans. Additionally, the turn-around time for operators to receive a decision on a plan will be much faster. At this point in time, fees are still paid in person or by mail. We are in the process of creating a system where operators can submit plans and pay fees through an online portal.
