Currently serving his second term, Supervisor Robert Lovingood represents the First District of San Bernardino County. He continues to work diligently toward bringing
accountability and a more business-friendly approach to County government.
As a strong advocate for District constituents and businesses, Supervisor Lovingood remains focused on preparing a skilled workforce and encouraging business growth to create
jobs. San Bernardino County’s recent launch of the Vision2Succeed Initiative under Supervisor Lovingood’s Chairmanship is pivotal in taking the County’s collaborative work
with industry and education partners to the next level. Supervisor Lovingood provided valuable leadership and governance to the County during his two-year term as Chairman
of the Board and continues to be steadfast in his focus on public safety, veterans, and seniors.
Supervisor Lovingood serves on multiple boards and organizations within the County, actively working to advocate for our region’s transportation, environmental, and healthcare
needs. Advancing economic development is an additional priority of the Supervisor, with specific concentration on a streamlined approach that encourages business growth and expansion into the region.
He is committed to provide exceptional service to our residents, business community, and agency partners and appreciates the privilege to serve as First District Supervisor.
In January 2019, Supervisor Lovingood began serving 2-year appointments on several committees and boards. The purpose of these appointments is to implement the Countywide Vision,
create, maintain and grow jobs and economic value in the county, improve county government operations, and pursue county goals and objectives by working with other agencies.

- Interagency Council on Homelessness
- Local Agency Formation Commission
- Mojave Desert and Mountain Recycling Authority
- QuadState Local Governments Authority
- Victor Valley Economic Development Authority
- Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority
Supervisor Lovingood will also serve on several boards and commissions as an alternate member.
